Fighter

Fighters are at heart weapon specialists, past masters of all kinds of armor and weapons, both at home as a light-footed scout-archer or as a heavily armored knight holding the line against a horde of monsters or an army. Thanks to their equipment and training, they can soak up damage and dish it out with clean efficiency.

Guard of Caer Mar, escort of a Combers caravan, soldier of the Argad, the jobs of a fighter are diverse. But they all involve a readiness to fight at the drop of a hat.

Rogue

Rogue

Don’t be fooled by the name, not all Rogues are shady or even criminals, but all are more than they appear.

As tricksters, thieves, assassins, or fearless explorers of dark and dangerous ruins, Rogues focus on agility and stealth to take down enemies and solve problems.

Whether it’s via a knack for climbing, finding and disarming traps, finessing complex locks, accessing magical tricks and spells or the ability to strike with deadly skill, Rogues keep their foes guessing.

Cleric

Cleric

Unknown on Solasta until the Cataclysm, Clerics blessed by divine or immortal forces, call on that power and channel it to work miracles, aid allies or battle foes. Because of these gifts, Clerics may attend temples dedicated to a particular deity or use prayers and rites to draw on their power.

Not all laity are Clerics, instead carrying out their devotion through prayer, not magic. Although some claim to speak for gods, few can wield the divine power of a Cleric.

Wizard

Wizard

Seeking mastery of magic through exhaustive study, Wizards learn to cast wonderous spells of fire, lightning, deception, transformation and summoning. Some become so powerful they may even create new magic, while most become sages or advisers.

Whatever the path, eventually even the most timid wizard’s constant curiosity drives them to explore. Seeking ancient ruins, lost magic and artifacts or monster guarded secrets, in the belief that the ancients held powers beyond their wildest imaginings.

Paladin

Paladin

Few receive the call to be a Paladin and those that do are exceptional people. Sworn to a god, a force of nature or inspired by desperate need a Paladin’s oath is potent, the warrior becoming an exalted champion fighting the forces that oppose their oath.

The Paladin’s powerful martial skills supplement the magic they wield; healing, smiting foes, protecting the needy or those who stand with them.

Paladin’s life is adventure, forever at the forefront of a cosmic struggle against opposing forces.

Sorcerer

Sorcerer

Once rare, Sorcerers have become less so since the Cataclysm. Why, who knows? What is known is that all wield innate magic of ancestral or mysterious otherworldly origins.

Unlike Wizardry, Sorcery is not learnt but instinctually controlled, enhancing and channeling mana in ways that defy the laws of magic. A roiling power that leaves its mark, passed on through family, either a blessing or a curse.

Nope! While Solasta I & II share the same world, Solasta II’s story takes place in a different location about a century after the events of Crown of the Magister. There might be references to Crown of the Magister, but knowledge of the previous game is not required to enjoy Solasta II.

Absolutely, while the Early Access starts with 6 classes and 4 ancestries, we’ll be adding more over the course of the Early Access.

At the moment, you can expect around 10h to 15h depending on your playstyle.

The game is available on PC (Steam) during Early Access, we'll communicate our plans regarding other platforms development later.

The game is currently playable on Steam Deck, and we aim to optimize its performance to be Steam Deck verified at the 1.0 launch!

We are currently aiming for 1.0 to release about a year after the start of Early Access.

Not right now! The multiplayer update is planned to release during Early Access, before the 1.0 launch.

Yes, you absolutely can.

We are currently focused on the development of main game to make sure we can deliver the best experience possible with Solasta II! That said, we are looking at ways to see if we can include a Dungeon Maker and Mod Support in the long run.

Simply head to our Support Page and create a ticket!
